My name is Nicholas De Leo, MD, a board-eligible general surgeon, who completed trainaing at Cooper University Hospital, Camden, New Jersey, and currently a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Fellow at Cleveland Clinic Flordia, in Weston. I was born and raised in Phildalephia, Pennsylvania, where I completed the bulk of my medical training. I received a Bachelors of Science degree in Biological Sciences from Drexel University. I then worked as a Clinical Research Coordinator for the Brain Behavior Laboratory at the University of Pennsylvania, where I gained valuable experience in the clinical research realm. I received my Doctor of Medicine from Drexel University College of Medicin in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 2017. I completed a general surgery residency, along with 1 year research fellowship, at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, New Jersey in 2023. During that time, I developed and conducted various basic science, and translational research projects centered on wound healing, regeneration, and stem cell therapy. Over the past year, I have been working closely with Dr. Hilton Becker in purusuing ways to optimize results from autologous fat-grafting in both aesthetic and reconstructive breast surgery.
