Steve Dayan, MD

Steven Dayan, a facial plastic surgeon, University of Illinois professor and researcher has published over 175 articles in medical journals and 6 books. He is a NY Times and USA TODAY Best Selling Author. His accolades include the American Medical Association (AMA) Foundation’s Leadership Award and a perennial “Top Doc” recognition by numerous organizations including Castle Connolly and U.S News & World Report as well as being ranked the #1 Aesthetic Physician in the USA by the peer voted Aesthetic Everything. As a founder of Denova, a medical research company, a medical marketing company, a skin care training center and a medical education company, he remains on the cutting edge of aesthetic products, thinking and education. He serves in a Director position for 3 of the largest annual aesthetic meetings in the world reaching 10’s of thousands of aesthetic physicians, AMWC Monaco, AMWC North America and Vegas Cosmetic Surgery. He is the only US doctor to be a member of American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (ASAPS), American Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery (AAPFRS) and the American Society of Dermatologic Surgeons (ASDS) and he currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Facial Plastic Surgery society and MedSpa Partners as well as on the board of multiple medical journals including, Facial Plastic Surgery, Aesthetic Surgery Journal (ASJ), Cosmetic Dermatology and New Beauty Magazine. He holds editorial positions with Modern Aesthetic Magazine, Aesthetic Surgery Journal and Facial Plastic Surgery Aesthetic Medicine. He has authored 6 books. But it is in his role as an adjunct professor —teaching a popular undergraduate course: The Science of Beauty and Its Impact on Culture and Business – that his NYTimes Best Selling book Subliminally Exposed is based.
